DESCRIPTION:<p>Open Mic nights - your opportunity to have the microphone- they are get 
 togethers for local musicians to have a place to perform. They can be music
 ians who play instruments, solo or groups, or sing, or recite poetry, or al
 l of those things. They might be beginners, experienced or even professiona
 l musicians. The main thing is to create a supportive atmosphere that appre
 ciates local live music, and the work that goes into developing these music
 al skills. So whatever stage (excuse the pun) you’re at, if you love live m
 usic and want to share in this, either as audience or performers, come and 
 be part of Hooky Open Mic. We hope to create collaborations, share ideas an
 d support those new to performing - and generally have a good time.</p>
