A list of tunes to be played is circulated monthly and there is time to choose tunes on the day. One tune is selected to try to learn by heart. Another familiar tune is chosen by on e of the group for the others to join in playing by ear. Sometimes we compa re our playing with examples on You Tube.
Everyone is w elcome – whatever level they play at. The group consists of people who enjo y and want to find out more about folk music, and improve their playing. So me people come to listen rather than play. Some come regularly and others o ccasionally.
